IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Our new regular monthly meeting location has changed. The new address is 3845 Spring Drive, Spring Valley, CA This is what used to be called our "Bancroft" location. You can park for FREE outside the gate - and walk through the turnstiles. The meeting room can be accessed by a ramp in the parking area southeast of the new solar panels. Limited parking spaces may be available inside the chain link fence across from the basketball courts for ADA, or volunteers and board members who are hauling equipment or other materials into the regular meeting. All cars must exit all the parking areas when the meeting ends. Both gates are padlocked no later than 10:00pm. No exceptions, or you may be locked in. Last month our champion member Joe Barros took some videos of the recent grape pruning on site by member volunteers, and that scion was offered at the Scion Exchange 2/7/26. Watch that cool video here. Many thanks to Joe, Steven, Maria and others for their hard work. This month's meeting will be an overview of grafting tips, tricks, and techniques - shared by our skilled and experienced members (past and present). There will be an educational slide show, several videos courtesy of volunteer member Joe Barros, and there will be a few dedicated members on hand to answer questions and hopefully demo a few samples. (Steven Stuverud (pictured above) and others...) For anyone who had never met the now passed chair "Jim Neitzel" - (who our library is named after), we'll have some educational grafting slides from when he taught grafting at our local community college.
